January 8th: The day I *finally* shared about my 8+ year battle

substance abuse ONLINE… and it was single-handedly one of the most nerve-wracking days of my life. 🥴

But also THE most liberating day of my life. 🙏🏽

I finally felt like I could be *fully myself* without hiding such a huge part of my story.

Fast forward...

I can proudly say I’ve finally overcome substance abuse after 8+ years.

I am officially 160 days sober from Cannabis…

After what was supposed to only be a 30-day hiatus to heal my relationship with it. 🙏🏽

And I’ve been able to help HUUUNNNDREEDS of others just like me do the same through sharing my story on TikTok (this has been a blessing 🥺).

And most recently...

I got asked to speak at a Youth Empowerment Summit workshop, sharing my story with substance abuse to 12-17 year olds. 🤯

My LITERAL dream is coming true 🥺

... Getting paid to speak on things I’m passionate about and impact the younger generation. (How is this real life?)

And N O N E of this would’ve happened had I not faced my fears, got vulnerable, and 🗣spoke my truth.
